    Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange traded merely 24 points, or 0.13 per cent higher at 18,450.50, signaling that Dalal Street was headed for a positive start on Wednesday. Here are a dozen stocks which may buzz the most in today's trade:

    Havells, Jubilant Food, Tata Communications: Havells India, Jubilant Foodworks, Tata Communications, Syngene International, L&T Holding Finance, Angel Broking, Just Dial, Supreme Petrochem, Tejas Networks, Hathway Cable & Datacom and Shoppers Stop are among the companies that will announce their September quarter results today.

    Nestle India: The FMCG major reported a 5.15 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 617.37 crore for the third quarter ended September 2021, driven largely by a high single-digit volume and mix growth in the domestic market across brands.

    ICICI Prudential Life Insurance: The life insurer reported nearly 47 per cent jump in its net profit to Rs 445 crore for the second quarter ended September 30. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 303 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year 2020-21.

    Reliance Industries: The retail arm of Reliance Industries, Retail Ventures Ltd (RRVL) has acquired a 52 per cent stake in veteran couturier Ritu Kumar's firm Ritika Pvt Ltd for an undisclosed amount.

    ACC: The cement maker reported a 23.74 per cent increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 450.21 crore for the third quarter ended September 30, 2021. The company had posted a profit of Rs 363.85 crore in the same quarter a year ago.

    Larsen & Toubro Technology Services:
    The technology player posted a 39.1 per cent rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 230 crore for the September 2021 quarter and has raised its dollar revenue growth guidance to 19-20 per cent.

    Network18 Media & Investments: The media player reported nearly threefold jump in consolidated net profit at Rs 199.27 crore for September quarter. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 68.01 crore in July-September period a year ago.

    Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals: The chemical player launched a qualified institutional placement issue on October 19 and approved the floor price for the same at Rs 422.48 per equity share.

    Rallis India: The Tata group company reported a 32.53 per cent decline in consolidated profit after tax (after exceptional items) during the quarter ending September 30, to Rs 56 crore mainly due to erratic monsoon season.

    Sonata Software: The IT company posted a 59 per cent jump in consolidated profit to Rs 91.17 crore in the second quarter ended on September 30, 2021. The company had recorded a profit of Rs 57.2 crore in the same period a year ago.

    ICICI Securities:
    The subsidiary of ICICI Bank reported a 26 per cent jump in profit after tax to Rs 351 crore in the three months ended September 2021 on account of growth in revenue and improvement in margins. The company had posted a PAT of Rs 278 crore in the same quarter preceding fiscal.

    DCM Shriram: The sugar company posted a 33.2 per cent increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 159 crore for the second quarter of 2021-22 on strong sales. The company's net profit stood at Rs 119 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal, according to a regulatory filing.

    HeidelbergCement India: The cement maker reported a 4.55 per cent decline in its net profit to Rs 59.56 crore for the second quarter ended September 2021 on account of increased operating cost.

    Tata Steel BSL: The metal producer reported over a five-fold jump in its consolidated net profit to Rs 1,837.03 crore for the September 2021 quarter, mainly on account of higher income. In a BSE filing, the company said it had clocked a net profit of Rs 341.71 crore during the corresponding period of the previous financial year 2020-21.

    TV18 Broadcast: The media company reported over twofold increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 231.40 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2021. The company had clocked a net profit of Rs 115.55 crore in the year-ago period.

    Oriental Hotels: The associate peer of The Indian Hotels reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 4.83 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2021. The company had reported a net loss of Rs 17.88 crore in the July-September period of the previous financial year.

    JSW lspat Special Products: The steel products player said its standalone net loss has narrowed to Rs 36.85 crore during the quarter ended September. In a BSE filing, the company said it had clocked a loss of Rs 62.06 crore in the same quarter of the preceding 2020-21 fiscal.
