Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's legion of fans, friends and well-wishers from the industry have reacted strongly to his son Aryan Khan’s bail plea being rejected by a special NDPS court, 18 days after he was arrested for allegedly doing recreational drugs at a cruise ship. SRK's supporters were sincerely hoping for Aryan's release this time around. Disappointed and shocked beyond words, SRK's 'Raees' director Rahul Dholakia took to Twitter to express his frustration. He tweeted, 'You are saying there is a “possible” connection to his “international” racket based on “WhatsApp” chat recovered from his phone, that you confiscated on a “bust” where he “had nothing” ?And you have been fishing for days and yet not found anything? #FreeAryanKhan' Filmmaker Hansal Mehta, soon after the verdict was announced, without taking any names, expressed his opinion and wrote on Twitter, 'The travesty continues. The ordeal continues. Heartbreaking.' Writer Kanika Dhillon also shared her thoughts and penned, 'From what’s being reported by media that Watsapp is shoddy evidence to deny bail- Is it not about- ‘satyamev- jayate ’ anymore but harassment basis ‘my name is …..’? and ‘fall in line or else…..’ is this the msg to young India? #AryankhanDrugsCase #AryanKhanBail … Sad.Scary.' Meanwhile, #FreeAryanKhan has been trending since the special court gave its verdict. Where an agitated netizen wrote, 'This is just unbelievably cruel. #AryanKhanBail', another tweeted, 'What upsets me more is that it's been more than 15 days, an innocent boy is in jail just bc of his name, not for any crime that he commits. DEVASTATING & SAD REALITY' A third wrote, 'Injustice! Injustice! Injustice!' Yet another commented, '#FreeAryanKhan We all can feel the pain you people must be going thru now a days.. and yet again the bail plea got rejected. Have faith in judiciary and let the NCB do their job..Under their jurisdiction Mr. Khan will be fine.. so dont worry about him.. Have faith in law..'
