High school football: Detroit Lakes snaps Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton's win streak

D-G-F's Owen Leach passed for 130 yards and a touchdown.

DETROIT LAKES, Minn. — Detroit Lakes tallied a 42-29 victory over Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton on Wednesday in Minnesota high school football, spoiling the Rebels' undefeated regular season.

D-G-F quarterback Owen Leach was 5-for-15 passing for 130 yards and a touchdown. Leach connected with Jordan Summers for a 51-yard score in the second quarter. Leach also added two rushing touchdowns. Rebels running back McKale Pierson carried 19 times for 97 yards and a touchdown. Pierson added 30 receiving yards and Logan Bitker had 32.

Detroit Lakes QB Bradly Swiers completed 12 of 21 passes for 155 yards with four touchdowns and two interceptions. Charles Kalina had two touchdown receptions with 53 receiving yards. Ethan Carrier ran for 78 yards and a TD.

D-G-F (Class AAA) ended the regular season with a 7-1 overall record. DL (Class 4A) ended at 5-3.
