Karnataka: Eight villagers injured in attack by monkey in Bidar

KALABURAGI: Eight people were injured when a monkey attacked them at Ghodwadi village, in Humanabad taluk, Bidar district.
The monkey, which appeared to be wounded, is causing hacov in the village.
People tried to scare it away by bursting crackers and making a huge noise by beating drums and vessles, but it did not flee the village.
Finally, they alerted panchayat officer Rajashekhar Bulla, who in turn informed the forest department.
The injured were treated at the taluk hospital.
