NEW DELHI: The capital recorded zero deaths due to Covid-19 and 37 fresh cases with a positivity rate of 0.06% on Sunday.
In the last 24 hours, 60,704 tests were conducted — 47,902 RT-PCR and 12,802 rapid antigen. With 51 patients recovering from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, the number of active cases stood at 320 on Sunday.
The number of patients recuperating in home isolation as on Sunday is 94, and the number of patients admitted in hospitals is 189.
Out of the total 11,160 hospital beds reserved for Covid-19 patients, 10,971 are vacant. Out of the total 3,341 Covid ICU beds in Delhi, 3,283 were vacant at 8.30pm on Sunday, according to the Delhi government’s online Corona dashboard, including 1,495 vacant ICU beds with ventilators out of a total 1,522.
In September, five fatalities were reported in Delhi and four fatalities due to the infection have been recorded so far this month in Delhi - on October 2, October 10, October 19 and October 22. The death toll due to the coronavirus infection in Delhi stands at 25,091.
On Saturday, 40 cases were recorded with a positivity rate of 0.07%. On Friday, 38 cases were recorded with a positivity rate of 0.07% Thursday, 22 cases were recorded with a positivity rate of 0.05%.
