Solar panels help Climate Pledge Arena achieve net zero carbon

The panels have been installed on the new Alaska Airlines Atrium and the First Avenue North parking garage, in addition to the Kraken Training Center at Northgate.

Climate Pledge Arena celebrated its grand opening this weekend. On the atrium roof and parking garage of the iconic arena, visitors might have noticed a series of solar panels. Recently completed by Excelsior Energy Capital, Monarch Private Capital, Unico Solar Investors, Oak View Group and the Seattle Kraken, these three solar installations are part of the arena's commitment to becoming the first arena in the world to be net Zero Carbon certified by the International Living Future Institute.
