Director Seenu Ramasamy is famous for his classic rural dramas, and he is best in bringing the flavor of the nativity. Now, the latest report is that Director Seenu Ramasamy is all set to make a biopic on a famous character. Seenu Ramasamy has been reportedly planning to make a biopic on the British Engineer John Pennycuick, who built the famous Mullaperiyar dam in the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border. John Pennycuick has served as a member of the Madras Legislative Council during colonial rule. Seenu Ramasamy has decided to do his life story as a film to bring out the unknown facts about the Mullaperiyar dam and how it was built. People of Theni, Dindigul, Madurai, Sivagangai, and Ramanathapuram districts in Tamil Nadu, have been getting water for agriculture through the Mullaperiyar Dam, and it will be an interesting film to see if the National Award-winning director makes a film on it in detail. It is noteworthy that John Pennycuick built the dam with his own money with the help of public works engineers and secretaries and as a result, he is still revered by the people of those areas. Seenu Ramasamy is currently working on the post-production work for GV Prakash Kumar starrer 'Idi Muzhakam', and the director also has 'Maa Manithan' Vijay Sethupathi ready for release.
