According to the fire department, the 13 identified pollution hotspots include Anand Vihar, Ashok Vihar, Bawana, Dwarka, Jahangirpuri, Mundka, Narela, Okhla, Punjabi Bagh, RK Puram, Rohini, Vivek Vihar and Wazirpur. EDMC issues challans worth over Rs 18 lakh against pollution violators in November

In Jind, farm fires down by half, but AQI still hazardous

There has been a 50% fall in stubble burning cases in Haryana’s Jind district, but there has been no respite from air pollution. According to the Central Pollution Control Board’s (CPCB) app for checking air pollution, Jind’s AQI was 427 at 5pm on Tuesday — an AQI marker above 300 is considered hazardous to health. On Wednesday, it improved marginally, but the figure was still hazardous — 380.

Gurugram quality still ‘very poor’, will remain so a few more days

The air quality index in Gurugram improved to 344 on Wednesday from 369 on Tuesday. However, the AQI is still in the 'very poor' category.All four stations in Gurugram recorded 'very poor' air quality. Sector 51 recorded the highest AQI of 385, followed by Teri Gram with an AQI of 350, Gwal Pahari with an AQI of 323, and Vikas Sadan with an AQI of 313.
