United Kingdom announces plan to increase international commerce


(MENAFN) The government has stated that by the turn of the current decade, the yearly British shipments will have increased USD 1,343 trillion.

The Manufactured in the UK, Served Around the World initiative aims to assist businesses in seizing great possibilities in international markets.

The Exports reached USD805,4 billion worth of products and services last year. However, just one out of every ten British businesses sells internationally.

Anne-Marie Trevelyan, the Secretary of State for Foreign Commerce, stated it was "critical" for businesses to "unleash their full exporting potential."

State institutions such as UK Export Finance should provide more programs to assist UK manufacturers gain revenue as under of the 12-point program.

A new UK commerce expo program will be launched to assist UK businesses in displaying unique goods at global affairs.
