Ellen Molloy recalled as Ireland name squad for World Cup qualifiers

Four players involved in FAI Cup final included in group to play Slovakia and Georgia

Ellen Molloy has been recalled to the Ireland squad as manager Vera Pauw has named a group of 25 for this month's World Cup qualifiers.

Molloy’s return comes off the back of a series of impressive displays for the under-19s earlier this month. Wexford Youths teammate Aoibheann Clancy is also named in the squad, meaning four players potentially involved in this Sunday’s FAI Cup final will then link up with Ireland with Shelbourne pair Ciara Grant and Saoirse Noonan also included.

Ireland take on Slovakia and Georgia at Tallaght Stadium on November 25th and 30th respectively. It will be the first time they play at home since last month’s win over Finland in Helsinki. Both matches kick-off at 7pm and will be shown on RTÉ.

Midfielder Ruesha Littlejohn and forward Kyra Carusa both also return to the squad after recovering from injury.
