Man gifts his wife a Taj Mahal like home in MP

A Replica of the one of the 7 wonders of the world, Taj Mahal was made in Burhanpur. An educationist from Burhanpur Mr. Anand Chouksey has gifted a house like Taj Mahal to his wife Mrs. Manjusha. It took 3 years for this home like Taj Mahal to get completed. The dome of the house has been kept 29 feet high and is made on the lad area of 90X90 including the minarets. It has 2 bedroom downstairs and 2 bedroom upstairs, a big hall, a kitchen, a huge library and a meditation room. Lightings have not only been done on the inside but also on the outside in such a way that in the dark night, it looks like the real Taj Mahal.There is a mention in Mughal history that when Shah Jahan's wife Mumtaz died, Shah Jahan chose the bank of Tapti river to built Taj Mahal. However, later it was built in Agra, This was concerning for a resident of Burhanpur and to remove this stigma, he gifted his wife a house like Taj Mahal. The Builder of this house was recognized and was awarded. The Engineer of the house Mr. Praveen Chouksey said that it was quite a task for him for which he even visited Agra, to closely examine the technology and area. Artists from Bengal and Indore were called for Carvings done on the Inside of the house. The flooring of the house is done by the artisans of Makrana in Rajasthan and the excellent inlay work has been done by the artisans of Agra. The furniture work is done by the artisans of Surat and Mumbai. This house has got the award of Indian Constructing Ultratech Out Standing Structure of MP.
