AHMEDABAD: On Tuesday, Amdavadis felt a nip in the air with citizens bringing out woollens to deal with the slightly windy weather.
Due to a western disturbance, the next two days will witness rainfall in several parts of the state. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast, Surat, Dang, Navsari and Valsad will get heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places, and there will be heavy rain in Banaskantha, Aravalli, Anand, Vadodara, Narmada, Bharuch, Tapi, Amreli and Bhavnagar on Wednesday.

Light to moderate rainfall with gusty winds is expected in almost all districts of Gujarat. On Thursday, heavy rain is likely to continue in Sabarkantha, Chhota Udepur, Aravalli, Dahod and Mahisagar.
IMD officials said that the day temperatures will drop in the next 2-3 days, whereas night temperatures will decrease after the wet spell is over.
