Lovers from Chamarajanagar end life in hotel room

MYSURU: A young couple from Chamarajanagar allegedly committed suicide in a lodge.
The bodies of Sathish, 21, a graduate, and Varalakshmi, 20, a nursing student, were found hanging from a ceiling fan at a city lodge early on Wednesday.
Police said the couple planned to get married but the girl's family was against the alliance as Sathish did not have a permanent job. Sathish was preparing to take exams for a government job.
The couple checked into a city hotel in Mandi police limits late on Tuesday.When they didn't come out of the room for dinner and did not respond to knocks on the door, hotel staff alerted police.
