22 lakh hectare of land got irrigation facility: CM Yogi at Saryu Canal project inauguration

While addressing the gathering at inaugural ceremony of Saryu Nahar National Project in Balrampur, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on December 11 said, “We launched projects of Rs 10,000 crore on December 7 had inaugurated 9 medical colleges in Siddharth Nagar and 1 international airport in Kushinagar. Saryu Nahar National Project was approved in 1972, the year I was born. I grew up but it never got completed. 17 out of the 18 Uttar Pradesh projects have been completed, with which 22 lakh hectare of land found a great way for irrigation.”
