One killed, 11 injured after UPSRTC bus collides with tree in UP's Sultanpur

LUCKNOW: A 40-year-old man died while 11 others sustained injuries after a Uttar Pradesh State Roads Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) bus they were travelling in bumped into a tree in UP's Sultanpur district on Sunday.
The bus was going to Lucknow from Azamgarh. Police said the deceased was identified as Balbir Singh of Ghazipur district.
Superintendent of police, Sultanpur, Vipin Mishra told TOI that as per preliminary investigations it has come to fore that the bus was being driven by its conductor Rajkumar, while the driver Ram Pratap Saini was sleeping at the time of the incident.The injured are being sent to the district hospital for treatment.
Mishra said that the incident took place near near village Bansgaon under police station Gosaiganj around 6am.
