Maharashtra: Monkeys involved in killing of many puppies captured in Beed

In a bizarre incident reported from Maharashtra, a group of enraged monkeys has allegedly killed around 250 dogs to take "revenge". Villagers said that it all started after a puppy killed a baby monkey. The monkeys have been on a rampage of killing puppies since last month. They dragged the canines to the top of buildings and trees, and then dropped them. The residents of the village contacted the forest department about the incident and requested them to catch the monkeys in the area. The locals say that there are hardly any dogs left in the village but the monkeys have not stopped. The primates have started targetting school-going children, according to the report. The attacks created panic among the residents of the village.
