Uttar Pradesh: Train halted at Lalitpur station as Uma Bharti says bomb in train

Khajuraho Kurukshetra Express (Train no. 11841) was halted for around two hours on Thursday night at Lalitpur station after an alarm was raised by senior BJP leader Uma Bharti who was travelling in it suspecting bomb scare. The train was thoroughly checked before it was allowed to proceed further.

JHANSI: Khajuraho Kurukshetra Express (Train no. 11841) was halted for around two hours on Thursday night at Lalitpur station after an alarm was raised by senior BJP leader Uma Bharti who was travelling in it suspecting bomb scare. The train was thoroughly checked before it was allowed to proceed further.
According to reports, Uma Bharti was traveling in the HA-1 compartment of the train from Tikamgarh to New Delhi.
The train reached Lalitpur station at 9.40 pm and was halted till 11.30 pm A joint team of RPF and GRPsearched the train thoroughly but could not find any kind of suspicious article. The same process was repeated in Jhansi.
