Kandhamal reports 1st case in a month

Berhampur: After December 3, a Covid case was reported in Kandhamal district’s Khajuria block on Thursday. The condition of the 18-year-old is stable, a doctor said. This has prompted the district administration to create awareness on safety protocols in public places and fine the violators. “On Wednesday, we collected Rs 20,500 from 102 people for not wearing masks,” said SP (Kandhamal) Veenit Agrawal.The joint raids will continue across the district, particularly in public places to ensure that everyone follows the Covid guideline, he added.
