3rd Manipur Clay Court Tennis Tourney : Ribhaskar clinches men's open singles title

Imphal, January 09 2022:
Ribhaskar won the men's open singles title of the 3rd Manipur Clay Court Tennis Tournament 2022 organised at the Imphal District Tennis Association's clay court at Lamphel.
Suraj who defeated Bona 8-3 earlier in the day to book men's singles final berth went down 4-9 in the hands of Ribhaskar to finish runners up.

Meanwhile, the pair of Bona and Rabi bagged the above 35 years doubles title beating Ashok and Aken by 8-3 margin today in the final.
Earlier in the semi-finals, Bona and Rabi edged out Ribhaskar and Rakesh duo 8-4 while Ashok and Aken overcame Domson and Korounganba pair 8-5 .
Earlier, Ribhaskar and Rakesh made it to the semi-finals with an easy 8-2 beating of Romeo and Ramkumar today.
Ranjan and Prakash duo on the other hand won the above 45 years doubles title after a 8-5 win over Ibohal and Jayanta today in the final.
Ibohal and Jayenta reached the final beating Kangjamba and Sanatomba 8-4 in the semi-final today.
Earlier, in the day, they overwhelmed Kenjit and Babloo 8-1 to secure their semi-final berth.
Ranjan and Prakash, meanwhile, reached the final beating Manikanta and Rakesh 8-1 .
