Delhi on Monday reported 17 more deaths due to Covid and 19,166 new cases in last 24 hours. The positivity rate has soared to 25 per cent now. Delhi LG said that DDMA has decided to close restaurants and bars and to allow 'take away' facility only. It was also decided to allow operation of only one weekly market per day per zone. Over 18k people take 'precautionary dose' in Delhi

A total of 18,795 people, including 6,212 healthcare workers, got a "precautionary dose" of COVID-19 vaccine in the capital on Monday, according to government data. As many as 8,040 people aged above 60 and 4,543 frontline workers also got their third dose. Around three lakh people aged 60 or more, healthcare workers and frontline workers who took their second dose of vaccine nine months ago have become eligible for the third dose from Monday. (PTI)

Moderate air quality in Delhi

Delhi's air quality was recorded in the moderate category on Monday while the maximum temperature settled at 18.1 degrees Celsius, two notches below normal. The minimum temperature of the city was recorded at 9.6 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average. (PTI)
