Bollywood actress Mouni Roy has decided to make her relationship official with Dubai-based businessman Suraj Nambiar on January 27. According to news reports, the 36-year-old actress will tie the knot in Goa in two weeks. Roy's industry friends are said to have received their invites to the hush-hush wedding.
A Hindustan Times report said that a five-star resort has been booked as the wedding venue. The guests will have to carry fully vaccination certificates.
Last month in mid-December, Roy was in Goa with her gang of girls, and some reports suggest that it may have been her bachelorette party. The actress' close friend and Raindrop Media founder Rohini Iyer had planned the trip at W Goa resort.
Last year in November, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) government issued a golden visa to the actress - who has been spending a lot of time in the country.
According to a Khaleej Times 2019 report, the UAE government had introduced the Golden Visa initiative for long-term residents to encourage foreigners to work, live, study and conduct business in the country without requiring national sponsors. Through this initiative, foreign investors and businessmen get complete ownership of their businesses in the country. These golden visas are issued for five or 10 years, which automatically get renewed.
Going by their Insta posts and the reports, the couple have been dating since 2019. However, they have always remained tight-lipped about their relationship.
Roy - an ace Insta user - has never uploaded any image of her fiancé as yet, but traces of the actress can be found on the businessman's IG feed.
Fans spotted the same June 19, 2019, image of Roy holding a bouquet featuring the character 'Groot' from Marvel movie 'Guardians of the Galaxy' on both their social media accounts. While the groom-to-be uploaded the image in Oct the same year, Roy on Republic Day of 2020.

Roy, who likes to keep details about her love-life private, was earlier rumoured to be in a relationship with director Ayan Mukerji. Sources claimed that the duo started dating during the 'Brahamastra' shoot, but the romance fizzled out soon after the movie schedule ended.
Prior to this, she was rumoured to be in a relationship with her 'Devon Ke Dev' co-star Mohit Raina, but they never confirmed their relationship. Earlier this year, Raina - who rose to fame for portraying Lord Shiva in the popular 2011 TV series - surprised with pictures from his intimate wedding ceremony.
On the work front, Roy is awaiting the release of the Mukerji-directorial, 'Brahmastra'. Set to release on September 9, it features Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan and Akkineni Nagarjuna in pivotal roles. The film is backed by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.
