Ralf Rangnick hopes to keep Donny van de Beek at Manchester United this month, despite reports the Dutch playmaker has been offered to two clubs.

Van de Beek - who has been linked with a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers - has reportedly been touted for loan moves to Newcastle United and Borussia Dortmund.

The midfielder has been used sparingly since his £35million transfer to United in 2020, making just 26 appearances in the Premier League - and the majority of those have come as a substitute.

The midfielder has lost his place in the Netherlands squad as a result of his Old Trafford plight and needs a move to resurrect his career.

Bruno Lage gives Adama Traore transfer update as Tottenham & Chelsea target Wolves star

Bruno Lage insists Wolverhampton Wanderers haven’t received any formal offers for Adama Traore yet.

Spain international Traore is commanding interest from Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Barcelona after entering the final 18 months of his Wolves deal.

Wolves are willing to listen to offers for Traore this month after fruitless contract negotiations in the last two seasons.

Spurs are favourites to sign Traore with Antonio Conte known to be a long-term admirer of the 25-year-old.

Wolves 'join the race' for £1million-rated teenage starlet lighting up League Two

Wolverhampton Wanderers are believed to have joined the race for Oldham Athletic's teenage prodigy Benny Couto.

The 18-year-old has emerged as a bright talent in League Two after getting an opportunity with the Latics earlier this season.

Couto has made 13 appearances in the fourth tier this season, contributing a goal and two assists to Oldham's survival bid this term.

The Oldham Times report that Wolves are the latest club to "join the race" but will have to vie with a number of Premier League clubs, including Leeds United, for his signature.

Wolves target Raul Jimenez Mexico teammate amid 'very significant' development

Mexico defender Carlos Salcedo is said to be "very close" to a transfer in the January window as Wolverhampton Wanderers reportedly contemplate a move, but it is understood no offer has been put on the table as of yet.

The centre-back, who lines out for Liga MX club Tigres UANL, was recently reported to be a transfer target for Bruno Lage as the Wolves manager seeks to bolster his defence.

The 28-year-old is an international teammate of Raul Jimenez, having won 48 caps for the Mexican national team since his debut for the country in 2015.

Wolves are said to be one of four teams interested in signing Salcedo, with Bordeaux, Galatasaray and Palmeiras also considering a move for the defender.

Wolves confirm 'very good move' as latest January transfer completed

Wolverhampton Wanderers youngster Lewis Richards has left the club to join Harrogate Town on loan for the rest of the season.

The 20-year-old has been a fixture in the Wolves U23 squad over the past three years, but he will now get his first experience of senior football with the League Two side.

The Republic of Ireland U21 international could make his debut for the North Yorkshire outfit this Saturday when they travel to face Newport County.

Richards, who can play at left-back or centre-back, was regularly included in the Wolves matchday squad throughout the 2020/21 Premier League campaign and has featured in the Papa John's Trophy for the U21s.
