Auto driver's murder: Four arrested in Telangana

HYDERABAD: Lalaguda police arrested four persons in the recent murder case of an auto driver. The deceased was an accused in a murder case registered at OU PS in 2020.
Police said that the latest murder is a revenge killing.
The deceased was Ch Rajesh, 39, an auto driver from Moulali. The arrested accused are, R Prem Kumar, 25, R Mahesh, 32, R Sai Kumar and their associate, G Shiva Kumar, 24, private workers from Lalaguda.

On January 13 night, the accused waylaid and attacked Ch Rajesh with knives and boulders at Lalaguda, killing him on the spot.
"The accused bore grudge against Rajesh for killing their cousin, R Nagabhushanam in 2020. They were waiting for an opportunity to take revenge and came to know that Rajesh was visiting a friend at Shanti Nagar in Lalaguda on January 13 night. They waited for him and killed him," Lalaguda inspector K Ravi Kumar said.
Based on the complaint lodged by the family members of the deceased, police registered a murder case and arrested the accused from Lalaguda on Sunday night.
Two other accused, Vinay and Santhosh, who helped the four arrested accused in committing the murder are absconding. Police have launched a man hunt to nab them. The arrested accused were produced before the court and sent in judicial remand on Monday.
