Everton have been urged to consider appointing Burnley boss Sean Dyche as their next permanent manager.
Dyche has been with the Clarets since 2012 and is currently the longest-serving head coach in the Premier League by some distance.
Recognised for his ability to get the best out of a group of players on a minimal budget, the 50-year-old has been praised on a number of occasions for the job he has done at Turf Moor.

His greatest achievement at the club arrived during the 2017/18 season, guiding the Clarets to a seventh-placed finish and resulting in qualification for the preliminary stages of the Europa League.
After Everton's failed approach of hiring managerial figures with a track record of delivering success at top European sides, former Blackburn Rovers midfielder Robbie Savage believes it could be time for a fresh outlook.

“Everton have had Ronald Koeman, they have had [Carlo] Ancelotti and Rafa Benitez - huge names trying to manage that football club," Savage told BBC Radio 5 Live Sport.
“But it’s not working," he added.
"Rooney, with his passion, is doing a fantastic job at Derby under unbelievable circumstances.
“But what about, and people might laugh at this, Sean Dyche? He keeps Premier League teams up on small budgets.
“The job he has done is unbelievable, season after season after season, in keeping Burnley in the Premier League.”
Other candidates to have so far been linked to the vacant role at Goodison Park include Jose Mourinho and former Blues boss Roberto Martinez.
Everton's first Premier League match without Benitez at the helm sees Aston Villa make the trip to Merseyside, with a certain Lucas Digne set to star against his former club.
