Birmingham City face the unenviable task of taking on rampant Fulham in west London this evening.

Marco Silva's promotion-chasers have scored 13 goals in their last two games and Blues arrive at Craven Cottage without an away win since October.

Lee Bowyer still has his hands tied by injuries to attacking players with Tahith Chong, Taylor Richards, Ivan Sanchez and Troy Deeney all sidelined.

He is at least boosted by the return of George Friend who has served his one match ban and could come straight back into the team this evening.

With kick-off at 7:45pm, we'll have the breaking team news for you at 6:45pm - so stay tuned.

One change

Ryan Woods starts his first game for nearly two months in tonight’s clash with Fulham as Lee Bowyer keeps faith with all but one of the Birmingham City side which drew at Preston.

The 28-year-old, who came off the bench to set up Scott Hogan’s equaliser at Deepdale, replaces Jordan James in Blues’ midfield.

Defender George Friend is back after serving a one-game suspension but returns on the bench in place of Remi Walker.

That means Bowyer will once again send out a back five, with Teden Mengi, Marc Roberts and Kristian Pedersen in front of Neil Etheridge – the goalkeeper who is facing his former club.

Maxime Colin and Jeremie Bela start at wing backs, with Woods lining up alongside Ivan Sunjic and Gary Gardner.

Lukas Jutkiewicz is once against partnered by loan man Onel Hernandez, who made a bright debut against North End.

BLUES (5-3-2): Etheridge; Mengi, Roberts, Pedersen; Colin, Woods, Sunjic, Gardner, Bela; Hernandez, Jutkiewicz. Subs: Trueman, Masampu, James, Friend, Campbell, Hogan, Bellingham
