Lakhimpur-Kheri violence: HC reserves bail plea of minister Ajai Mishra Teni’s son

LUCKNOW: The high court on Tuesday reserved its order on the bail plea of Union minister Ajai Mishra Teni’s son Ashish Mishra alias Monu in the Lakhimpur Kheri incident in which some farmers were killed.
A bench of Justice Rajeev Singh passed the order on Ashish’s plea after completing the hearing through video conferencing.
It was pleaded on behalf of Ashish that he was innocent and there was no evidence against him that he incited the driver to crush the farmers.
