The latest Republican candidate for Illinois governor is touting a new list of endorsements from current and former party officials.
Among the names supporting Aurora Mayor Richard Irvin’s bid for governor are former Congressman John Shimkus and former Illinois Comptroller Leslie Munger.
Several Sangamon County names are also on the list of more than 60 GOP supporters, including State Representative Tim Butler, county auditor Andy Goleman, and former sheriff Neil Williamson.
