Vadodara/ Anand: Anand district administration on Wednesday launched a command and control centre as Covid-19 help centre. It will help suspect cases as well as positive patients by assisting them in home-based treatment, guidance through telemedicine and support in need of emergency.
Anand district collector Manoj Dakshini said, “The help centre will also co-ordinate to provide treatment, guidance and follow-up to Covid-19 patients under home isolation.
It will guide patients who require hospitalisation if their condition deteriorates during home isolation.”
Residents can get details on availability of beds, oxygen, ventilator and wards in the district from the centre that will remain operational 24 hours.
“The centre will also facilitate vaccination of elderly who have crossed 60 years and are alone by providing them home-based services,” he said. tnn
