HYDERABAD: BJP Telangana has come up with “Mission-12” programme, aiming for a win in all Scheduled Tribes (ST)-reserved constituencies and also where there is a considerable tribal population in the next assembly elections.
Constituency-wise leaders, senior party leaders, former MPs and Adilabad MP Soyam Bapu Rao attended the meeting in which the plan of action was discussed.
The state BJP leadership said in the ST-reserved constituencies, it was also important to take along tho-
se who did not fall under the category. “We have to take together all the sections of people,” Bandi Sanjay told the leaders, who attended the meeting. Sanjay said only BJP was genuinely interested in the welfare of STs and it was demonstrated with the party taking up issues of tribals in various districts.
Plan of BJP under “Mission-12” is to win 12 assembly constituencies, which are either reserved or have considerable population of STs. “Tribals trust BJP,” he said.
