ALL-SCHOLASTICS
KWAME ADU-GYAMFI, St. John’s Shrewsbury
The talent-rich Catholic Conference got richer with the addition of this senior defensive midfielder, who helped the Pioneers to a league title in their debut two years ago and was named Co-MVP this fall. The All-New England choice had 15 goals and 18 assists in his four years as a starter and has signed to play for Northeastern.
JONNY BONO, North Andover
The senior entered the fall with six career points but racked up eight goals and 13 assists while earning Merrimack Valley Conference MVP honors. An All-New England selection, Bono is a member of the National Honor Society and National Spanish Honor Society.
NICK BRAGANCA, Beverly
The senior striker erupted for 22 goals and 14 assists, giving him totals of 38 goals and 40 assists for his career and garnering All-New England recognition. The honor roll student also captains the Panthers basketball team.
BEN BROWN, Concord-Carlisle
After leading the Dual County League in goals as a sophomore, the junior followed up with another all-star campaign, scoring seven goals and adding three assists on his way to an EMSCA All-State selection. The 6-foot-5 center midfielder is also a captain of the Patriots basketball team.
OWEN BURKE, Holliston
The senior center midfielder had 14 goals and 14 assists and was Tri-Valley League Large MVP. The All-New England selection and honor roll student wrapped up his Panthers career with 27 goals and 24 assists and has committed to play at Stonehill.
NADERSON CURTIS, Manchester Essex
For the second straight season, the senior striker/midfielder was Cape Ann League Player of the Year. He put up 20 goals and nine assists for the Hornets. Curtis received league All-Star recognition in all four seasons, piling up 66 goals and 30 assists.
NOAH GOLDSTEIN, Needham
The junior defensive midfielder earned Bay State Herget MVP and All-New England honors in his first season while registering four goals and two assists. An honor roll student, Goldstein also plays basketball and lacrosse.
RAFAEL GROSS, Medford
The senior winger tore through the Greater Boston League for 35 goals and 13 assists on his way to the MVP award. An EMass All-Star that finished with career totals of 50 goals and 35 assists, Gross is a member of the National Technical Honor Society.
ISAAC HEFFESS, Brookline
The senior midfielder/striker scored 10 goals and added two assists for a Brookline team that captured the Div. 1 state title. A two-time Bay State Conference All-Star, Heffess ended his career with 12 goals and nine assists for 21 points. Heffess has committed to play soccer at the University of New Hampshire.
ANGELOT JEROME, Randolph
The senior sniper scored 61 goals in just 43 career games, including 21 goals and five assists in a South Shore Tobin MVP campaign this fall. Jerome, who helped lead Randolph to its first league title as a junior, was named All-New England in his final season.
ALEX KUZMICH, Cardinal Spellman
The senior striker spent just two years with the Cardinals after transferring in from Whitman-Hanson but led the team in scoring both seasons, including 35 goals and 17 assist this fall as Catholic Central League MVP. The honor roll student will continue his career at Stonehill.
JAKE MCCABE, Canton
The Bulldogs made a stirring run to the Div. 2 state final as the No. 21 seed and this junior striker/attacking midfielder was a major reason why, scoring 16 goals to lead the Hockomock League and adding nine assists. An EMass All-Star, McCabe now has career totals of 21 goals and 13 assists.
CAMERON MCKNIGHT, Acton-Boxboro
The senior playmaker registered three goals and 11 assists, earning Dual County League Large MVP for the league champs and All-New England recognition. A high honors student, McKnight wraps up his career with six goals and 13 assists.
MARCO PERUGINI, Medway
The dynamic attacking midfielder as a junior lit up opponents for 24 goals and five assists to earn the Tri-Valley League Small MVP award. Now with 30 goals and 13 assists for his career, the EMass All-Star is also a National Honor Society member.
JACKSON PRICE, Hingham
The senior posted a 0.42 goals against and 12 shutouts this fall while earning Patriot League Keenan MVP and All-State honors, and finished with a 45-6-3 record for his career. A National Honor Society member and PL All-Star tennis player, Price will attend Boston College.
WILL ROONEY, Newton North
The senior center midfielder claimed Bay State Conference Carey MVP honors and a second consecutive All-State selection after collecting 11 goals and five assists this fall. The two-year captain also runs track and plays lacrosse and is an honor roll student.
WILLIAM SCHIFFER, Nauset
This center midfielder began his career with a Div. 2 state championship as a freshman and capped it with a phenomenal campaign as a senior, scoring 10 goals and 10 assists to cop the Cape & Islands MVP award and a spot on the All-New England list. Schiffer, the team’s Coaches Award winner, is also an honor roll student.
MISCHA SPASIC, Norwell
The senior center midfielder scored 12 goals and added 17 assists while powering the Clippers to the program’s first Div. 3 state crown. Spasic won the South Shore Sullivan MVP award and multiple All-State selections, which he hopes to continue overseas.
ETHAN SULLIVAN, Pembroke
Playing attacking midfielder or forward, this junior put up 15 goals and set up another 14 in claiming the Patriot League Fisher MVP and earned an All-State nod, giving him 20 goals and 23 assists for his career. The National Honor Society member is also an accomplished photographer.
MATHIAS TAYLOR, Oliver Ames
The All-American senior center midfielder/striker scored six goals and 13 assists in a Hockomock League MVP season. Taylor, who also runs track, leaves with 17 goals and 20 assists to his credit and has signed to play at Rhode Island.
PARKER THORNTON, Melrose
A senior striker/attacking midfielder, Thornton led the Middlesex League in goals, scoring 15 times and adding six assists this fall, which garnered him the Freedom Division MVP. The All-State performer is a member of the National Honor Society.
ERIC WIDRICK, Arlington
The senior racked up 13 shutouts this fall, giving him 19 as a Spy Ponder, posted a goals against of 0.24, which lowered his career mark to 0.28, and chipped in two assists. A Colgate commit, Widrick’s play earned him Middlesex Liberty MVP and a second selection to the All-State squad.
SAM WOLF, BC High
Capturing the Catholic Conference is a tough task and it was this senior center midfielder that was the catalyst behind the Eagles title, scoring five goals and five assists in being named Co-MVP of the league and making the All-State team. The honor roll student is also one of the MIAA’s top alpine skiers as a three-time CC All-Star.
BEN YOUNG, Plymouth North
The junior striker has 32 career goals, 21 of them coming this year along with 10 assists as he led the Patriot League in points and copped an All-State selection. A high honor student involved in Project Lead the Way, Young also runs outdoor track for the Eagles.
