Sanjay Dutt kicks-off Arunachal Pradesh campaign as state marks 50 years

Sanjay Dutt kickstarted the media campaign for 50 Years of Arunachal Pradesh. He has been roped in as the brand ambassador for the celebrations.

Northeastern state, Arunachal Pradesh, came into being as a Union Territory (UT) on January 20, 1972. With Arunachal Pradesh completing 50 years as a UT, celebrations have started off in full swing at the Padi Yubbe stadium in Ziro, with a selective audience. Sanjay Dutt is the brand ambassador of '50 years of Arunachal Pradesh' campaign and took to Twitter to kickstart the month-long festivities. For the unaware, 50 years of Arunachal Pradesh will be celebrated from January 20 to February 20. Sanjay Dutt shared his first campaign for the state on social media.

SANJAY DUTT KICKSTARTS 50 YEARS OF ARUNACHAL PRADESH CAMPAIGN

Sanjay Dutt has been making headlines for his upcoming film choices. Apart from this, he has been made the brand ambassador for '50 years of Arunachal Pradesh' celebrations. Sanjay is currently in Dubai and hence, couldn’t be present in-person to start off with the celebrations. But, he shared a video starring himself that will surely help boost the state’s tourism. Sharing the same, Sanjay wrote, “Proud to share my campaign for Arunachal Pradesh. My good wishes to the people of Arunachal for 50 year celebrations and a big thanks to @PemaKhanduBJP @rahulmittra13 @pasang_sona @ZingnuChau @MyGovArunachal @ChownaMeinBJP (sic).”

WHAT DID SANJAY SAY AT THE KICK-OFF CAMPAIGN IN DEC 2021?

Sanjay Dutt attended the 50 years of Arunachal Pradesh kick-off campaign in Mechuka in December 2021. Responding to the thunderous applause of the crowd present there, the actor said, “Apun ko bahut bahut khusi hoyele hai k apun Arunachal Pradesh ka brand ambassador hai mamu. Aur apun ye state kabhi chor ke nai jane wale (Loosely translated to: I am elated to be brand ambassador and will never leave this state).”

He had further added, “Roped-in mat kahiyemain aapko bol raha hun mujhe yahan bandh k hi rakhiyega. (Loosely translated to: I am not roped in, keep me here).”

Sanjay Dutt kicked off the media campaign for a month-long celebration that starts today, January 20, and will go on till February 20.
