HYDERABAD: In a suspected suicide pact, a software employee, his wife and seven-year-old daughter were found dead in their house locked from inside in Ameenpur on Thursday.
The bodies were discovered by their family members who called in cops after the couple failed to answer their phones for two days.
T Srikanth Goud (42) worked for TCS, his wife Anamika (38) was a private school teacher and their daughter a primary school student.
There was no suicide note and reason is still a mystery.
The cops broke open the door after being called in around 1pm. The couple lived on the first floor of their two-storied house in Vandanapuri colony, with tenants on the ground floor who last saw the daughter on January 18 around 7pm.
"Srikanth was found hanging from the ceiling fan in one bedroom. Anamika and her daughter were found lying dead in the second room with froth around mouth, indicating poisoning," Ameenpur CI U Srinivas Reddy said, adding that they might have died on the intervening night of January 18 and 19.
Both were from different communities, but the love marriage in 2012 was backed by both families, cops found out. Srikanth was from Shamirpet and Anamika from Alwal.

Preliminary probe by cops revealed that the couple appeared to be financially alright too.
"Both families get along very well. The couple have about 30 lakh housing loan, which is not a financial problem considering that both were working," said a cop.
"Family members said they were unable to contact the couple since Wednesday. Initially, they thought that the couple might have gone somewhere, but as the phones remained switched off on Thursday too, they went to the house. The main door and the safety grill were locked from inside," CI Reddy said.
"All the victims had big vermillion tilaks on foreheads. Photo frames of gods were turned towards the floor and walls," another cop said.
Police have taken the phones found at home for forensic analysis.
