Delhi experienced light rain Saturday morning

Light rain hit Delhi and the surrounding areas early this morning, and the weather authority predicts that it will continue throughout the day. For 19 districts in Madhya Pradesh, a ‘orange’ alert has been issued for rain and thundershowers with lightning and hail.

Gwalior, Shivpuri, Guna, Datia, Ashok Nagar, Sheopur, Morena, Bhind, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Raltam, Rajgarh, Agar Malwa, Vidisha, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Niwari, Damoh, and Sagar districts are all on the orange alert.

In Delhi, cold wave conditions are expected to remain over the next 24 hours, with partly cloudy skies and the risk of light rain or drizzle in the evening on Friday. In the morning, there will be some light fog.

Meanwhile, Delhi’s air quality remained in the ‘very poor’ category on Saturday, with an overall AQI of 342. Over the next three to four days, minimum temperatures in northwest India are expected to rise by 2-4 degrees Celsius.
