Wolverhampton Wanderers won their third Premier League game in a row on Saturday afternoon by beating Brentford 2-1 away from home.

Goals from midfielders Joao Moutinho and Ruben Neves twice put Bruno Lage's side in the lead after Brentford striker Ivan Toney drew level for the Bees.

But Wolves' lead was quickly restored when Neves scored seven minutes after Toney's goal in the 78th minute. Wolves held onto a valuable win and Bees boss Thomas Frank was sent off at full-time for arguing with referee Peter Banks.

Wolves are now unbeaten in their last six games in all competitions and supporters across social media have been reacting to the victory at the Brentford Community Stadium.

@ jon306 : Whilst it’s been nice to fly under the radar, it’s about time #wwfc got some credit and recognition that they are at least in the conversation for the top 4. It probably wont happen, but if Arsenal/West Ham can, so can we.

@ wellygoggs : That was an emotional rollercoaster and a half. That is a HUGE win in remarkable circumstances. GET IN

@ suoperkeeper33 : AGAINST ALL ODDS. What a result!!!

@ wwfc_bibb : Teams that get into Europe win those matches.

@ Lem_wwfc : What a result that is.

@ bigmat1982 : MONSTER WIN!! Maddest game ever, brilliant goals from Ruben and Joao, exhausting to watch. We're well in it now with huge games next month, bring it on!!

@ FabianPorter : It’s a pleasure to watch the class of Moutinho and Neves in the centre of our midfield. Enjoy the moment, absolute class.
