Anita

Anita is friendly and fun, once she gets to know you. She takes time to warm up to new people and is a little unsure of her new surroundings in Dogtown. Time, patience, and treats will help Anita make new friendships. She enjoys playing with dogs but can get a little rough with small dogs. If you’d like to meet Anita and make her part of your family, please reach out to an adoption specialist today.

Maxxsouthern utah adoptable pets Maxx

Maxx may be a senior, but he still has a spring in his step. He loves to take long, leisurely walks where he can follow his nose and explore. Maxx also enjoys car rides, snuggling with large stuffy toys, and most of all hanging out with his trusted human friends. He bonds strongly to his people and thrives on a solid routine which keeps his anxiety in check. Maxx prefers to be the only animal in the home so he can have your undivided attention. He’s looking for an understanding person who is willing to spend time with him and help him feel safe and loved. If you’re looking for a loyal companion, talk to an adoption specialist about Maxx today!

Brandysouthern utah adoptable pets Brandy

Brandy is a young and energetic gal who loves having fun! Just look at her smile! She gets so excited when it’s time to go walking or when a person she loves comes to visit her in her run. It’s best to take time meeting Brandy as she can be a bit unsure about new people. Once she knows you’re her friend, she couldn’t be happier to spend time with you, whether it’s hiking, playing, or snuggling. Brandy would do best in a single-dog household.

Divyasouthern utah adoptable pets Divya

This beautiful girl came to us in 2015 after she was abandoned at 2 months old and has never had a family of her own. Divya loves Temptations treats, wand toys, her feline roommates, and being brushed. She would love nothing more than a quiet, patient home where she can adjust to her surroundings and learn to trust being in a home for the first time in her life.

Freyasouthern utah adoptable pets Freya

Freya is completely at ease around others cats, though she’s a little shy with people. Born in 2012, she was rescued as a stray in Nevada. Although we can pet her, she doesn’t seem to enjoy it yet. But she’s a calm and peaceful girl, and she’ll gladly accept treats. Freya is a Caturtle, also known as a shy cat who comes out of its shell in a home.

Schmooliesouthern utah adoptable pets Schmoolie

Thunder

He is a Shepherd & Akita mix puppy.  Jasper is a friendly, gentle pup that loves affection.  This sweet boy is looking for his forever home. Could it be with you?

Roo

My name is Roo and I’m a cute, curious little fellow looking for my place in this world. I love to play with toys and then have a cuddle session afterward. I’d love to have some adventures with you. I know I will keep you smiling. And I’m house-trained.

Orlando

My name is Orlando and I’m a handsome little lad looking for a home. When I’m not wrestling or playing with toys, I do enjoy being pet, brushed, and snuggled. I would love to be a part of your family.  And I’m house-trained.

Stoli

This young doll will steal your heart. She had been dumped in an area common for this practice and when we were rescuing kittens, she stole her way into the van to eat and then stole our hearts. Stoli will be so appreciative of a loving home where she won’t be hungry anymore. She will reward you with lots of head butts and cuddles.  She is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone.

Mabel

Mabel is a 1-year-old female Heeler mix. She is a very sweet girl and is okay around other dogs. Mabel is very shy and needs a patient owner who will give her lots of love so she knows she’s safe. She has lots of love to give back if you’re willing. Come on in and meet this beautiful girl!

Tillie

Hi, I’m Tillie, I’m a sweet young cat, less than a year old. Once I get to know you, I’ll come running when you call my name and you will never be lonely when I am around since I’ll follow you from room to room. A few tender touches and I’ll be forever by your side. I’m great with other cats that love to cuddle. I prefer a home without young kids since loud noises can scare me. Come into PAWS to meet me!

Momo

Momo loves the Shop Meoow wheel. She is a fun-loving, entertaining 9-month-old beauty. She is a little shy at first but warms up once you start petting her. She came to PAWS with a very bad eye that had to be removed. That doesn’t slow her down though. She is a playful and loving girl who would enjoy a home with another cat. Come in and meet Momo!

Super nice dog. He is happy just to sit beside you and cuddle- big happy love muffin. His adoption fee is $60.

Cocoa

My name is Cocoa. I love to run, I love to play, and anything active just makes my day!. Making sure I get plenty of exercise and furthering my manners training will go a long way in helping me keep from making you dizzy from all my energy. I might do best in a home with children big enough to handle my exuberant spirit and zest for, well, EVERYTHING! If you’re looking for a running, hiking, biking, or agility (maybe flyball?) partner, I am SO your man. My adoption fee is $60.

Lady

Still a baby herself at only 1-1/2 years old, sweet Lady has been the best mom ever since she came to BAM with seven two-day-old puppies. Her babies are weaned and going to new homes and now Lady is looking for her very own person to play with and spoil her rotten.

Lady is a gentle, smart, good-natured goofball who loves to play with people and other dogs (she does not, however, care for cats). She’s the perfect companion! Once she’s been spayed, the adoption will be final and this amazing girl will be yours forever.

Lady’s Puppies

Sherlock

Six-year-old Sherlock is an adorable, energetic little (7 pound) package of love! He’s a true cuddle bug who will follow you everywhere to ensure he doesn’t miss any lap time! He loves toys and will self-entertain or play fetch.

Sherlock really enjoys mealtime, chews, and treats and is a fast eater so a slow feeder or separate feeding area may be needed. He’s comfortable in his crate and will frequently go into it voluntarily just to chill. He’s a great walker and rides well in a car.

He enjoys his foster’s small dogs (and her cat) as well as a number of other littles but large dogs and small children are not recommended due to his size and occasional nervousness. Sherlock is housebroken (will need some doggy door training) but does mark, a behavior which should disappear over time since he is now neutered.

Bolt

Almost eight-year-old Bolt is a handsome little Pomeranian / Chihuahua (long-haired although it is currently cut short) fellow. He recently moved from a home with a big yard where he could exercise himself to a small apartment with no walks or doggy daycare access. The resulting behavior was lots of barking…not a good situation! His mom and dad made the difficult decision to find a family for him who could offer an enriching, love-and activity-filled life.

Affectionately known as Bolty, he lived with another little dog so is very comfortable with small doggy friends (his foster has several) but we are unsure about how he handles bigger dogs. He’s quite the lover and will sit next to you if other more engaging activities are not available. He’s a great walker who enjoys himself and is not particularly reactive to his environment. He also loves certain toys and is self-entertained plus he rides well in a car.

Bolt is housebroken but will need some doggy door training.

Poppy

Poppy is a complicated girl who is both sweet and sassy. She would prefer a quiet home without small children where she is the only dog or maybe has one other small dog friend. Poppy is housebroken using a doggy door and gets along with her foster’s small dogs but is a loner.

Poppy is approximately 7-8 years old. She was rescued from a life on the streets of Phoenix and is still cautious, exhibiting some defensive behaviors but really wants to trust and love! She asks for belly rubs and neck pets but these must be given on her terms.

Poppy can be picked up and held if needed but she is not yet a lap dog. She fears having a leash or harness put on her but loves her walks! Because Poppy is HIGHLY treat motivated, patient training will likely be successful. She will require an experienced adopter with a slow, steady training protocol, lots and lots of repetition, and lots and lots of treats to help her overcome her fear and aggressive behavior.

Stella

For pitties sake! Really–no interest in this beautiful girl? How can that be? Stella is a wonderful, kind girl looking for love. At five to six years, she had very likely never experienced it before coming to BAM and every day she shows us her gratitude and affection. She’s finally figured out that people want to love her…and we all do! Stella e is so ready to start a new chapter in her life now with nothing but love in store.

Stella was so gentle when she played with her puppies but now they’ve all gone to their forever homes leaving her alone and lonely. She really wants someone to hold her close and play tug with her.

Gentle as she is, she had occasionally acted very protective of her puppies when other dogs or kids were nearby. For that reason, she may do best as a solo dog with no kids (or maybe ok with older, respectful kids), and, we assume, no cats.
