Raghav Chadha demands FIR against Punjab CM Channi over illegal sand mining allegations

Keeping up the attack on the Congress-led Punjab government, AAP (Aam Aadmi Party) leader Raghav Chadha on January 24 met State Governor Banwarilal Purohit. He submitted a letter to Punjab Governor seeking his immediate intervention in the multilayered illegal sand mining racket in Punjab allegedly run by and under the aegis of Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi. “We demanded that FIR be registered against CM Channi Saheb for serious allegations of illegal sand mining, theft of sand and mining and that there be an impartial independent free and fair investigation,” said Chadha.
