Goa Polls: Congress leader Joseph Sequeira joins BJP

Ahead of Goa Assembly Elections, Congress leader from Calangute Joseph Sequeira joined Bharatiya Janata Party on January 25. He joined the party in Panaji in presence of Chief Minister Pramod Sawant. He said he joined the BJP in order to restore Calangute to its former splendour and for the benefits of locals. While speaking to ANI, Joseph Sequeira said, “There is a lot of destruction being carried out at Calangute and various other village. In order to bring Calangute to its past glory and for the benefit of locals, I will join BJP.”
