ELECTION INFORMATION:

Current physical residence and mailing address need to be correct for Voter Registration.

Colorado elections are mail ballot delivery elections; ballots will be mailed to all eligible electors:

  • June 28, 2022, Primary Election ballots will be mailed to all active eligible electors June 6 – June 10, 2022.
  • Nov. 8, 2022 General Election ballots will be mailed to all active eligible electors October 17 – October 21, 2022.

The ballot that is mailed to you is the Official Ballot for you and your physical address location. Please vote that ballot and either mail it back (adequate postage attached), drop it off either in our 24/7 drive up drop box (no postage necessary) or in our office drop box 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday – Friday; Saturday before an election 8 a.m.-12 p.m. or election day 7 a.m.-7 p.m.

Ballots are not forwardable so it is very important that your address both physical and mailing is correct.

Your physical address determines what ballot issues you are eligible to vote on. Example: If the city is having a question on the ballot and you live in that city then you are eligible to vote on that question and if you don’t live in the city you will not be eligible to vote on that question.

For Voter Registration; please contact our office at 522-1544 or go to www.govotecolorado.gov to update your information.

Some of the smaller town communities require a Post Office Box if you live inside the city limits of that town. Example: Atwood, Iliff, Merino, Peetz, and Crook. If we don’t have the Post Office Box then you will not receive your ballot to vote.

REMEMBER: Logan County Drop Box can be used for Voted Ballots, Motor Vehicle Renewals or Tax Payments or any other correspondence that needs to get to a county office at the Courthouse (no postage necessary for the county drop box).

June 6, 2022, Monday: Last day for voters who are affiliated with a political party to change or withdraw their affiliation; if they wish to vote in a different party’s primary election.

June 6 – June 10, 2022 Ballots for the Primary Election will be mailed to voters this week.
