Assembly Elections are taking place in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa, Punjab and Manipur.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address elections rallies in poll-bound Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh today. The rallies are scheduled in Uttarakhand's Rudrapur and Uttar Pradesh's Kannauj.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also address rallies in Saharanpur and Amroha today as Uttar Pradesh gears up for the second phase of the assembly elections scheduled for February 14.
Congress' Priyanka Gandhi will address rallies in Uttarakhand's Khatima, Haldwani and Srinagar today.
In Uttar Pradesh, polling was conducted on February 10 for the first phase of the assembly elections. The next phase polling will take place on Febuary 14, followed by February 20, 23, 27, March 3 and 7, for the other five phases.
Elections in Goa and Uttarakhand will be held on February 14.
Punjab will also go into the polls in a single phase on February 20.
The voting dates for the two-phase Manipur assembly elections have been changed and will now Voting for the first phase is on February 28, and the second phase is on March 5.

Punjab Election: Kartarpur Corridor Became Possible Because Of PM Modi, Says JP NaddaBharatiya Janata Party national president JP Nadda on Saturday said Kartarpur corridor became possible because of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and he made sure that the devotes can visit Gurdwara in Punjab to offer prayers.
"Kartarpur corridor was possible because of our PM. He spent Rs 120 cr on its construction to make sure that the devotes can visit the gurdwara to offer prayer," said Mr Nadda in a public meeting in Punjab's Balachaur.
Uttarakhand Election: Double Engine Government Gave Free Ration, Vaccines: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Ahead of the Uttarakhand Assembly elections, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that double engine government provided free ration, vaccines to people.
"Double engine government provided free ration, vaccines to people. Our government launched several other schemes for people of different sectors and gave direct benefits to people," he said during a poll campaign in Bazpur, Udhampur Singh Nagar.

Punjab Elections: Case Registered Against 2 Candidates For Concealing InformationTwo candidates contesting Punjab assembly elections have been booked for concealing information about being proclaimed offenders while filing nomination papers.
Harmeet Singh Pathanmajra alias Harmeet Singh Dhillon from Sanaur constituency in Patiala and Mohammad Shakeel from Malerkotla constituency have been booked under section 125 A of Representation of the People Act, 1951 and various sections of Indian Penal Code for hiding the information in nomination papers.
"An FIR has been filed on Thursday against Pathanmajra after receiving a complaint that he was declared Proclaimed Offender (PO) on July 2, 2019, by a court of Barnala. He, however, furnished false information in Form 26A (Affidavit) while filing the nomination," said S Karuna Raju, Chief Electoral Officer Punjab.

In 2016, the army carried out a surgical strike across the Line of Control to retaliate against a terror attack in Uri in which 19 soldiers were killed. Several opposition leaders had questioned the operation.
