Biharsharif: Miscreants allegedly shot dead one Chandrashekhar Prasad, a farmer and resident of Bajrangi Mor under the Gokulpur police station area of Nalanda district, while he was out for a morning walk on Saturday. Five empty bullets were recovered from the scene of the crime.
For over an hour, Chandrashekhar’s relatives blocked vehicular traffic near Bajrangi Mor, demanding the arrest of the miscreants.
Additionally, they demanded an investigation into the role of Gokulpur police station’s SHO in the heinous murder. They accused him of working hand in glove with the miscreants, claiming that police immediately transported the deceased’s body to the Biharsharif Sadar hospital for post-mortem examination without notifying his relatives.
