Teacher jumps to death in Jamnagar

RAJKOT: A 55-year-old teacher allegedly jumped to death from the terrace of a private hospital in Jamnagar on Sunday.
The teacher Jalpa Dantani was suffering from oral cancer and was admitted to the hospital around four days ago. Police said she was fed up with the cancer pain and therefore took the drastic step. Her sister-in-law Bhavna told police that Jalpa went to the terrace of the four-storeyed hospital and jumped at around 6:45am.
She used to teach in a private school in Khambhaliya town. She was unmarried and stayed with her brother and his wife, B-division police sources said.
