Student stabbed to death in Pratapgarh

Prayagraj: A 19-year-old Intermediate student was stabbed to death near Sheetlaganj area under the limits of Kandhai police station of Pratapgarh district on Wednesday morning. The incident, according to the police, took place when the victim was going to attend his coaching. The motive behind the killing was yet to be ascertained.
The deceased has been identified as Sagar, a resident of Karmahi village.
Meanwhile, Pratapgarh police said that the family members of Sagar have accused Suraj Rawat and two others of killing the intermediate student. Two police teams have been roped in to ensure the arrest of Suraj and two of his accomplices. Irked over the incident, the family members of the victim along with the locals blocked vehicular movement near Patti road, demanding the arrest of the killer. Heavy police force was deployed to defuse the tension.
Police said that the incident took place at around 9 am when the student had come to attend his coaching classes located in front of KR Inter College.tnn
