Sambalpur varsity to hold CPET

Bhubaneswar: The Sambalpur University has been selected to hold the common PG entrance test (CPET) this year. The last two editions of this entrance test were conducted by the Utkal University and Berhampur University respectively.
CPET is being conducted for admission into state public universities and colleges with PG courses. After appearing in this one test, students will get a seat in any of the state universities according to his/her eligibility and entrance performance.
The Odisha State Higher Education Council (OSHEC) had given a proposal to the Sambalpur University to conduct CPET-2022 and publish its results. The university has accepted the council’s proposal. It will hold a meeting on this and start preparation for this.
