Bihar: PDS dealer stabbed to death in Begusarai

BEGUSARAI: A PDS dealer was stabbed to death on Thursday morning when he was going for a walk at Pabra village under Manjhaul police outpost of Begusarai district.
According to the family members of the victim, Arun Singh (65), had just gone a little far from his house, when they heard him crying. "Hearing his cries we rushed only to see him lying in a pool of blood.The assailants seemed to be waiting for his arrival and stabbed him multiple times on his back and even inflicted a deep cut on his throat," his son Abhinav said.
He added that his father kept repeating the names of Ranjan Singh and Prabhakar Singh, both residents of the same village for the assault on him while being taken to the hospital. He however, succumbed to his injuries on way to the hospital.
Abhinav claimed that two years ago Ranjan had a quarrel with his father over a plot of land. "However, after that no incident took place in this regard," he said.
Local police said the case is being investigated.
