KALABURAGI: A woman and her son were electrocuted after their wet tin shed came in contact with a live wire at Yateemkhana in Gulabwadi in Kalaburagi on Sunday morning.
Shahin Begum, 42, and Sohail Khan, 20, were under a tin shed when they were electrocuted. Sohail, a cook, had come home in the early hours of Sunday. The shed was wet as there had been light rain.
When Sohail touched the shed, he got a jolt. His mother came to his rescue and she could not understand he had been electrocuted.
Unknowingly, she, too, touched the shed and died. Police came to their house and sent both bodies for post-mortem.
