Uttar Pradesh: Man, minor son & nephew crushed by truck in Ballia

VARANASI: A man, his minor son and nephew were killed when a speeding truck hit their motorcycle near Navratan Chatti on Belthra Road under the limits of Sikandarpur police station in Ballia district on Tuesday.
After sending the bodies for postmortem, Sikandarpur police said that Manoj Kumar Rajbhar (34) of Milki locality of Sikandarpur town along with his 5-year-old son Alok and nephew Rohit (15) was going to meet his in-laws in Maturi village on his motorcycle.
When they were passing through Navratanpur Chatti, a speeding truck hit their motorcycle. After the motorcycle came under the wheels of the truck it was dragged up several hundred meters as the driver of the killer truck accelerated the pace of the vehicle in the bid to escape.
Later, he left the truck abandoned and fled the scene. The scene of the incident shocked the locals as mutilated bodies of Rajbhar and children were found lying for some distance.
