Uttar Pradesh: 17 arrested in Ballia, 3 FIRs lodged in intermediate English paper leak case

The class 12 English examination was cancelled in 24 districts in Uttar Pradesh following the paper leak. At least 17 persons including the district inspector of school and a teacher of a college in Haripur Gadwar were arrested in Ballia district. Arrests were made following FIRs registered in Kotwali, Nagra and Sikandarpur police stations. DIOS Ballia Brajesh Mishra was arrested and was taken to the district hospital for medical examination. After the leak, CM Yogi Adityanath directed officials to slap NSA against those involved in the leak.
