The imposition of an embargo on Russian natural gas will lead to a collapse in production in Germany, said Siegfried Russwurm, President of the Federation of German Industries (BDI) Kommersant reports.

"We are talking about the collapse of our industry, which saved us during the coronavirus pandemic," Russwurm said on the air of ZDF television.

According to him, this will have grave consequences.
