SHO, sub-inspector suspended after semi-nude pic of journalist in MP police station goes viral

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan took strict action against the alleged mishandling of a journalist and seven others by the local police in the Sidhi district. A photo of a group of men standing half-naked with folded hands in a police station went viral on social media. One of the men included in the photo was a journalist. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan sought clarifications from the Bhopal Police Headquarters and instructed them to take strict action against the alleged behaviour of the accused police personnel. The police station in-charge and one Sub-Inspector (SI) responsible for the misbehavior of journalists have been suspended and orders have been given to summon them.
