1 case in Washim, 1 recovery in Nagpur

Nagpur: Vidarbha region on Tuesday reported just one new case of Covid, while one patient recovered. While Washim reported the new case, Nagpur reported the sole recovery of the day. With this, the number of under-treatment patients in the region remained unchanged at 19.
For a change, the Amravati division now accounts for 10 out of the 19 under-treatment patients, while Nagpur division has nine.With both, Washim and Buldhana districts having five patients each, the Amravati division has a bigger share of Covid patients in Vidarbha for the first time. Nagpur district has only six patients under treatment, Chandrapur has two and Gadchiroli has one Covid patient.
In the last 24 hours, 2,147 tests were conducted in Vidarbha. Yavatmal and Akola continued their Covid-free run. Bhandara, Gondia, Wardha and Amravati too continued to record zero new cases.
Nagpur district conducted 694 tests in the last 24 hours with 588 of them in Nagpur city alone. All were negative. Out of the six under-treatment patients, three each are from Nagpur city (NMC) and Nagpur rural (ZP) area. The only patient who recovered on Tuesday was from Nagpur city. All six under-treatment patients in Nagpur are under home isolation.
Yavatmal: It was the 47th consecutive Covid-free day for Yavatmal. The district found no new Covid cases, keeping the death toll unchanged at 1,803 and the positive patients reported so far is 79,065. The administration received 192 test reports and all of them were found negative. The test positivity rate is 9.22%, death rate is 2.28% and the DPR is zero. Of the 8,57,985 samples processed so far, 7,78,922 were found negative.
Chandrapur: No new case was detected out of 178 sample tested on Tuesday. With no recovery, the number of active patients under treatment remained stable at two. No death was reported during the day and toll remained unchanged at 1,567.The caseload stands at 98,963, while total recoveries amount to 97,393.
Wardha: The district is running with Covid-free status as no new case was reported from 94 test reports of Tuesday, while no active positive under treatment. The caseload, recoveries and toll remained unchanged at 58,110, 57,147 and 1,351 respectively.
